“STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES, BUT WORDS WILL NEVER HURT ME”
The Sticks and Stones jewellery collection is a collaboration of the creative minds of Kasun London and Stylist to the Stars and PR Consultant Emmanuel ‘Manny’ Ezugwu.
The collection was inspired by the notion that ‘sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me’, and has been created to help bring awareness to the issues generated by the dark side of social media – trolling and cyber bullying.
Far too often people are crucified online, in most cases for no real reason, and it was the concept that inspired the aesthetic of the collection – nails, shards of broken wood and the crucifix. The aim of the collection is to encourage victims of trolling and cyber bullying to be strong and remember that all bullies have are words, which if ignored can’t hurt you.
