Hand of the Protector Pendant – August – Peridot – Silver

Drawing inspiration from the ‘Hamsa,’ or ‘Hand of Fatima,’ a hand motif symbolizing protection in both Jewish and Islamic cultures, the clawed hand seen throughout the collection represents inner struggles & feelings of hatred, jealousy, and insecurity. In its iconic form, with fingers spread apart, the hand wards off evil.

It is traditionally believed to offer protection against the evil eye and all negative energies.
Each finger connects to an element and chakra:

Thumb- Fire element, solar plexus chakra.
Forefinger- Air element, the heart chakra.
Middle Finger- Ethereal elements, the throat chakra.
Ring Finger- Earth element, root chakra.
Pinky Finger- Water element, sacral chakra.
