Where Is Your Head At? – Garnet & Silver – Gold Snake
A snake coils tightly around the gemstone, gripping it with brutal force. One hand is almost crushed beneath its coils, while the other grips the snake with everything it has, fighting back with equal force. The snake’s head has been chopped off, leaving the struggle frozen somewhere between violence, tension and absurdity.
The title comes from the phrase “Where is your head at?” — a question about what someone is thinking, made literal here: the snake has lost its head, but the struggle continues. The hands still grip, the coils still tighten, and the gemstone remains caught between them. Nothing is resolved; the tension stays locked in place.
Maybe it’s about being caught up in your own thoughts. Maybe it’s about losing your head. Or maybe it’s simply about holding on when everything around you feels completely chaotic.
